Actors Bio

Rod Grant - Official Website

As a child Rod used to dream of one day being up on the big screen. As a boy his mother would drop he and his brother’s off at the local theater and tell them to watch it twice. It was his solitude as much as hers. By nineteen he had decided to follow his dream, enrolling in Adams Modeling & Acting Studio in Austin, Texas. Lacking confidence he quickly strayed, working various jobs instead until his move to New York at twenty-one.

His first professional job finally came, a couple of years later when he was cast as a two-step dancer for a bank commercial. The move to New York also proved short-lived and after a brief stint back home he tried two failed attempts at Hollywood before finally deciding on a move to Florida to be near his family. Crossing over into writing, he was first published in 1996 in the nonfiction genre of real estate.  Later, he crossed over into fiction, becoming one of the youngest authors in history to ever publish three titles in one year within three separate genres under his name “Rod L. Griffin.”

To date, he spends his time acting, writing and producing and has appeared in numerous independent films as well as industrials and commercials and continues to pursue his acting and writing careers. When he finds time he trains at Venue Actors Studio in the famed ‘Lee Strasberg’ Method Acting technique.
